DIY Tissue Paper Pom-Poms

Hi! Today I'm going to show you how to make tissue paper pom-poms! They're a little bit tricky at first, but they look beautiful. You could hang them from the ceiling almost anywhere, and they're a nice burst of colour anywhere.

* I suggest using more layers than described in this tutorial for a fuller effect, but less layers are easier to manage.

Supplies:
     - Scissors (they have to cut through a lot of layers, so sharp ones work the best)
     - Tissue Paper (it doesn't matter what size, but should be a rectangular shape)
     - Curling Ribbon

Step 1: Pick your tissue paper colours. Stack them on top of each other and cut to size. There should be 8-14 layers.

Step 2: Accordion fold to the top, making the first one about an inch up from the bottom. Start on the shorter length side.

Step 3: Tie the curling ribbon in the middle of the tissue paper accordion. Cut the edges into points or round them.

Step 4: Separate all the layers of tissue paper. This can be tricky if there's lots of layers, and tissue paper is very easy to rip. I suggest going very slowly and one layer from one side then the other to get it to separate evenly.

Do both sides. Fluff it out a bit, and you're finished!
